Reboot, introducing There V Goes, and a baby
Before we had a child, we traveled a lot. It wasn’t uncommon for us to do a long weekend in Argentina or plan detailed itineraries to exotic destinations back to back. I always had, and still have a long list of experiences and places to visit.
I crave new experiences through food, trying a new activity, or experiencing a different culture. I love it, and I want Carolina to love it too.
When I decided to start curating our travel experiences on this blog it was to encourage people to embrace adventure and new experiences and maybe do so, sometimes, or most times, (lol) with a little bit of luxury, whether close to home or 5,000 miles away. My approach to vacations has obviously evolved- I make sure that there are plenty of activities to keep Carolina engaged but also feel interesting to us adults.
I’m excited to write about how to do that just with a toddler in tow, in hopes that anyone who reads this might find inspiration to try something new because the truth is, kids deserve to experience this world just as much as adults and while I know that she won’t remember everything she does, I know these experiences will have a profound effect on her, how she develops curiosity, how she interacts with those that might seem different than her, and ultimately play a role in shaping who she will become.
